About The Position

Responsibilities: Essential: Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Remington standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing proper attire and name tag when working Comply at all times with Remington standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times Must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees Must be able to perform facials and treatments. Must be able to perform various facial treatments i.e. Oxygen, Microdermabrasion, Glycolic, etc. Must be able to perform a variety of skin treatments i.e. exfoliation, mask, waxing, extraction, etc. Must be proficient in all components of skin care i.e. anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, etc. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working order Prepare treatment rooms, clean after each treatment, and maintain inventory levels of linens and supplies Provide Spa tours as necessary Promote and sell Spa approved facial and body products using prescription pad Check appointment schedule and print daily activities as required as well as complete daily reports Ensure inventory control through proper usage of products Maintain passing scores on treatment inspections Maintain current licenses and certifications as required May be called upon to assist with front desk or locker room functions Attend meetings/training as required by management Perform other duties as requested by management

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 600 hours of education from an Esthetics institution
  • Current State license
  • Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
  • Must be able to show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests

Nice To Haves

  • 2-years experience in skin care preferred
  • 1-year spa experience preferred
  • CIDESCO certification desired
  • Knowledge of additional therapies desired
  • Bi-lingual desired
  • CPR Certification desired
