About The Position
Position Summary: The Esthetician provides professional skincare and cosmetic treatment services within SRHC outpatient settings. This role performs facials, superficial chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, and other non medical aesthetic services permitted under Kansas esthetics licensure and SRHC protocols. The esthetician conducts skin assessments, develops treatment plans, educates clients, and maintains accurate documentation. The role supports efficient clinic operations, retail product sales, and treatment room readiness while upholding safety, infection control, and customer centered service standards. The Esthetician does not perform medical aesthetic procedures, laser or energy based treatments, injections, or any services requiring RN or provider licensure. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited esthetics program. Minimum Experience One year of experience in aesthetics, dermatology, spa services, or cosmetic treatment settings preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of an accredited esthetics program.
- Current Kansas Esthetician license in good standing.
- BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of employment.
- All services must comply with Kansas Board of Cosmetology regulations, SRHC policies and the scope of practice for licensed estheticians.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in aesthetics, dermatology, spa services, or cosmetic treatment settings preferred.
