About The Position

Under the direction of the Supervisor, Spa Services, the Esthetician performs best in class spa treatments to include, but not limited to; facials, waxing and overall general skincare wellness. Demonstrates operational excellence, product/service knowledge and best in class health, safety and sanitization practices. Ensures a clean and safe environment for all patrons, team members and vendors, while safeguarding enterprise assets and guaranteeing departmental integrity.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year as a practicing certified Esthetician required.
  • Minimum of one (1) years of Spa operations and service experience required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of high-level facial and waxing knowledge and experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Good presentation skills.
  • Excellent writing skills and strong computer skills covering Microsoft Office applications as well as all compliance applications.

Responsibilities

  • Greets guests in the Spa, ensuring they are comfortable, and providing best in class facials, waxing and skincare while using several different types of facial techniques.
  • Maintains the highest level of product knowledge and complete knowledge of all skin care services offered.
  • Understands ingredients in products and can explain their benefits to guests.
  • Answers guests’ questions in a knowledgeable and professional manner, while monitoring and adhering to time schedule throughout shift.
  • Prepares room and tools necessary for scheduled treatments.
  • Ensures treatment room and areas are clean and sanitized using approved sanitizing procedures while following all required health and safety guidelines.
  • Restocks treatment products in treatment areas.
  • Removes soiled laundry and resets with clean laundry with highest level of safety and sanitizing practices throughout shift.
  • Assists as needed with opening and closing duties for Spa Services while ensuring cleanliness, health and safety of all Spa facilities, Spa treatment areas, and dispensary of professional Spa products.
  • Communicates with guests to identify any medical/allergy concerns while discussing the guests’ general wellness and service goals, prior to conducting service.
  • Exhibits genuine sense of concern for guests’ comfort and safety while creating a 'Guest for Life' by providing best in class experience through personalized service.
  • Upholds enterprise and Department policies and procedures as well as Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assists with day-to-day operations including product receiving, fulfillment, training/certification requirements, and policy and procedure compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
