SUMMARY The Esthetician is accountable for all service provision, waxing standards, customer service standards, and general day to day operations as it relates to client management and brand representation in the community.

Requirements

Current state licensure (Esthetician)
Passion for waxing and the beauty industry
Genuine and friendly demeanor
Ownership and attention to detail
Time management skills
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
Flexible and adaptable individual who embraces being a part of a team
Exceptional customer service
Self-motivated
Comfortable being on camera and representing the brand online and at community events
Must be willing to wax all genders. If not, do not apply.
Flexible schedule, must be willing to work weekends.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer experiences — exceed expectations from initial inquiry to long-term relationship management.
Maintain a clean and professional environment, completing daily checklists and ensuring studio readiness at all times.
Provide efficient, high-quality waxing and skincare services following all defined standards and protocols.
Act as a brand ambassador: represent Waxing the City at local community events, engage with prospective clients, and help build brand awareness.
Contribute to studio marketing efforts by participating in social media content (photos, videos, or testimonials) and helping showcase the Waxing the City client experience.
Support and protect our culture of teamwork, positivity, and brand loyalty.
Participate in ongoing learning, training, and process improvement initiatives.
Other duties as assigned in the spirit of teamwork.
Follow all safety standards and report/remove unsafe equipment or conditions promptly.
