Esthetic Nurse Injector
About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: The Esthetic Nurse Injector provides safe, high quality aesthetic care under the delegation and supervision of the Medical Director. This role performs provider authorized injectable procedures, laser treatments, and other SRHC approved medical aesthetic procedures for which competencies have been validated. The RN practices within the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and adheres to SRHC policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory standards. The RN does not perform cosmetology-licensed services and only performs procedures that fall within the RN scope of practice and SRHC-approved competencies.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- Two years clinical nursing experience
- Current Kansas registered nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
- All procedures must comply with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, Kansas Board of Healing Arts regulations, and SRHC policies governing medical aesthetic services.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor in Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastics, or cosmetic procedures strongly preferred.
