The Estate Sales and Relocation Specialist position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting our clients that are moving, downsizing, or cleaning out their homes. You will work closely with Managers and other employees and have direct interaction with clients and members of the public at large while you make a difference in our clients’ lives. Enjoy a flexible, part-time schedule, mostly weekday and some weekend hours available. This position will not require or guarantee a set number of hours per pay period as the hours are project-based. No specific experience is necessary. On the job training will be provided to ensure our customers receive the exceptional brand service they’ve come to expect. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess excellent interpersonal and organizing skills. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Age 18+ with a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record.
Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Experience in retail, warehouse, cleaning, moving, or general labor helpful.
Display integrity, honesty, reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Be focused on customer service including strong communication skills, patience, compassion, and respect for interacting with clients, families, and sales customers.
Ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment.
Comfort and willingness to work in environments that are cluttered or of varying cleanliness.
Smartphone for scheduling, timekeeping, and project management.

Responsibilities

Work independently or on a team to sort and handle clients’ items for relocation, resale, donation, recycling, or disposal.
Use smartphones or tablets to list items for resale including taking photos, researching and providing accurate descriptions; Assist buyers during estate sale pickups.
Work at the direction of the On-site Manager or Team leader; Assist with daily work site (i.e., client’s home) set up and cleanup including carrying supplies and items to/from vehicles, removing trash and cleaning up after ourselves.
Interact politely and compassionately with clients and their families and respond appropriately to customer issues.
Communicate in a positive and respectful manner with clients, customers, and co-workers.
Punctual and regular attendance on assigned shifts.
Follow company employee guidelines, operating procedures, and safety protocols.
Other duties related to our company’s core services may be assigned as needed.
