About The Position
A private family in Rancho Santa Fe is seeking a talented and experienced Estate Housekeeper who also happens to be an amazing Cook to provide fresh, healthy, and delicious meals in a casual household environment. The family is looking for a chef who enjoys creating innovative, clean, and flavorful menus, with an emphasis on healthy cuisine. Preferred styles include Mexican and Japanese, with a strong focus on seafood and fresh ingredients. This is a live-out position where the chef will be responsible for daily in-home meal preparation, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Private Chef or professional cook in a private home
- Strong background in healthy, clean cooking
- Ability to create varied and innovative menus
- Comfortable working with seafood and fresh ingredients
- Ability to manage shopping, kitchen organization, and meal prep independently
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Must pass an advanced third-party background check (paid by client)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Mexican and Japanese cuisine preferred
