Prologis Essentials is crafting the most convenient way for our customers to get the products, services, and support they need to get operational fast. We are building an elite network of high-quality vendor partners beyond the traditional four walls of real estate. With a network that began with solar, LED lighting, material handling and everyday services, our portfolio continues to evolve with industrial products, workforce solutions, and robotics. We are seeking a Finance Data & Analytics Analyst in our Denver, CO office as part of the Global Essentials Team to support the Finance function. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of the finance process including performing analytics to guide business decisions and driving the forecast process. You will assist in establishing efficient process flows and work with management to build out and maintain key performance metrics reporting. We are looking for a self-starter who is versatile, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and thinks critically. This position will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to gain exposure to numerous areas in finance, multiple departments, and advance their knowledge and skills.

  • Support the forecasting process by maintaining financial models, ensuring the accuracy of forecasting systems, and building reports to streamline financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial performance and update key inputs and assumptions in financial models, with a focus on sales, long-term forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Support monthly and quarterly close processes, including updating financial reports, explaining P&L variances, maintaining KPIs, and identifying risks and opportunities in forecasts.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy across financial systems.
  • Contribute to improving the forecasting process through automation, enhancing data accuracy, and exploring the integration of AI tools.
  • Support internal finance team members to translate business needs into technical solutions, including data management and automation for greater efficiency.
  • Design and develop data visualizations for dashboards and reports—primarily using Sigma—to support data analysis and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, such as deal cost analysis, various data mining exercises and business planning.
  • 2+ years related work experience in a finance data and analytics.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills, proficiency with entire MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer interaction and communication skills, and keen ability to follow-through with a sense of urgency.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, non-traditional finance role a plus.
  • Positive, proactive work ethic and approach.
  • Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines in an efficient, detailed, and accurate manner.
  • Ability to demonstrate tact, discretion, confidentiality and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, or related field, with a focus in Business Analytics.
  • Experience with Sigma, Tableau and Salesforce is a plus.
