KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. This position involves work with a profound impact on national security. KBR (formerly LinQuest) is the prime contractor on the MSEIT contract. The role is within a Systems Engineering team defining the next generation of space communication systems supporting Air Force Military Satellite Communications. The Systems Engineer will support Systems Engineering & Integration activities in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment, interfacing with SE&I team members, contractors, government civilians, and members of the USAF. The engineer will lead and support working groups, responsible for technical discussions, risk identification and resolution, requirement gap analysis, developing briefings, writing and tracking action items, and authoring meeting minutes. The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge SE&I for the Air Force’s Space and Missiles System Center, supporting the acquisition of state-of-the-art Military Satellite Communications systems for global secure, survivable, and protected communications for warfighters.
