About The Position

Ho'olaulima Government Solutions LLC (HGS) is seeking a highly skilled ESS Administrator to support our cybersecurity compliance program. This position is critical in ensuring the command's cybersecurity measures are effectively implemented and maintained. The successful candidate will provide direct support to the command's Information System Security Manager (ISSM), Compliance Manager, Cybersecurity Program Manager, and Security Director. The role involves configuring, operating, and maintaining Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) and its components, including ePolicy Orchestrator, McAfee Agent, Data Loss Prevention, and more, across various operating systems such as Windows, Solaris, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The candidate will be responsible for adhering to OPORD 16-0080 and DISA STIG requirements, ensuring that all systems are compliant with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity standards. In this role, you will be tasked with generating weekly and end-of-month reports summarizing completed work and submitting them to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Compliance Manager. You will also perform system administration functions on four ESS servers, including upgrades and patches, and provide monthly reports on product deployment percentages across the NCTAMS PAC Area of Responsibility (AOR). Collaboration with program of record system owners is essential to obtain necessary approvals for deploying and sustaining ESS capabilities. Additionally, you will manage the ESS software baseline in accordance with various DoD directives and provide guidance on account setups, policy deployments, and overall monitoring to the Compliance Manager. Troubleshooting and identifying issues with the ESS configuration will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with reviewing and monitoring ESS alerts and assessing threat event data. You will implement policies and rules provided by DISA, NCDOC, or SOC Division to enhance cybersecurity measures. Conducting Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) reviews, performing vulnerability scans, and providing recommendations to system administrators will also be part of your duties. Staying informed about industry trends and IT vulnerabilities is crucial, as you will be expected to report findings to the NCTAMS PAC Security Manager as required. The contractor will also need to complete required ESS training within the first week of performance.
