About The Position

Coach students to compete in the eSports environment (online and in-person); recruit team members and maintain complete roster for all levels Attend and participate in all Conference functions Participate in Conference, IHSA State Series Events. Attend a pre-season Activities meeting with Director of Athletics and Activities, and host a post-season awards program. Develop a program schedule and outline of activities. Coordinate activities with the school calendar and submits all building usage requests Assist the Director of Athletics and Activities in scheduling matches. Ensure knowledge in and follows the guidelines of the IHSA, including guidelines for selection of team members Ensure that members understand the expectations of the eSports Team, represent academic excellence with the school, and serve as good role models for the student body. Evaluate eSports outcomes and develop and implement improvements. Organize, supervise, and conduct fund-raising as required to support the eSports team Maintain records, including financial records of expenses and fundraisers, eSports team records, and program inventory of equipment. Maintain the IHSA schools center site.

Requirements

Qualified to coach eSports per IHSA by-laws
Ability to participate in practices
Serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through his/her instructions and actions.
