About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Producer to lead the daily execution of a high-impact talk show across broadcast, digital, and on-site platforms. This role is central to show preparation, content development, talent management, and live studio operations, ensuring a seamless on-air product that engages audiences and delivers for partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong sports knowledge and technical audio expertise, and is equally comfortable producing compelling segments, managing live broadcasts, creating digital content, and supporting remote productions. Requirements
- Ability to operate audio console.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
- Strong familiarity with all major sports, their personalities and the media that cover them.
- Ability and willingness to travel for remote broadcasts when necessary.
- With this career, you are required to hold a valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Proficient in digital audio editing (Adobe Audition).
- On-site remote producing experience preferred.
- Play by play experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily show preparation for assigned talk show.
- Meet with host daily to help plan shows.
- Produce segments for daily broadcast.
- Manage talent and flow of show in-studio during daily broadcast.
- Implement daily tasks assigned from the Director of Content to meet broadcast deadlines.
- Gather sound and music to enhance program segments.
- Supervise and assist talk show host while program is on-air.
- Responsible for studio preparation for daily show.
- Research background material for staff, segments, and daily broadcast.
- Screen telephone calls for talk program.
- Create, produce, and edit podcasts
- Ensure sponsored elements of show are executed
- Communicate segments ideal for digital repurposing and create titles for YouTube Videos.
- Train, learn, enhance, and utilize video production skills for digital content creation
- Contribute to station social media and digital content platforms
- Serve as on-site technical producer for remote broadcasts, including site surveys for upcoming remote broadcasts when needed
- Ensuring hosts have daily live reads and sending to sales team after show competition
- Voice commercials, promotional messaging, etc.
- Other assigned tasks
