About The Position

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Under general supervision, performs ESP testing, routine checks, and equipment troubleshooting. SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Perform induction motor testing, including hipot and spin testing Ability to test and understand PMM motors preferred Perform regular test and inspection procedures to ensure the product is in accordance with SOP’s. Safely operate automated high pressure/ high voltage testing equipment. Assists with loading/unloading ESP equipment on to racks and transportation vehicles. Maintain work area, tools and fixtures to ensure there are no hazard to personnel or integrity to parts being assembled. Contribute in building and/or reconstruction of various ESP components. Trains and coaches new hires in basic principles.

Requirements

  • Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company's TRIR goals
  • Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company's environmental performance goals
  • Complete, and actively participate in all of the company's EHS training requirements
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence as required
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Basic hand tool proficiency
  • Basic computer skills required to operate computerized test equipment
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • A combination of the above qualifications will also be considered
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area.
  • Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace.
  • Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to test and understand PMM motors preferred
