Essential Duties: 1. Provide appropriate instruction and educational services in ESOL to assigned students according to the guidelines of the program and through the established delivery model for service. 2. Seek opportunities for professional development and enrichment in the teaching and learning of second languages, particularly English as a Second Language. 3. Develop, implement, monitor, and assess the English Language Proficiency of each identified ELL and ELL-M student. 4. Maintain prompt and professional communication with parents in all aspects of their child's English Language Services. 5. Complete designated procedures for students referred for ESOL service and Title III services. 6. Compile, maintain, and submit all required records and paperwork by the required deadlines. 7. Serve as a resource and work collaboratively with the general education teachers who teach students with limited English proficiency. 8. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
