About The Position

Teachers of ESL (Grades K-12) - District Requirements: Valid NJ Instructional Certificate (Teacher of ESL) Knowledge/experience with WIDA Standards and NJ Student Learning Standards for ELA Knowledge/experience with ACCESS Testing Knowledge of Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching (a plus) Ability to apply and turnkey Can Do Descriptors Knowledge of best practices in working with MLs (ie: Sheltered English Instruction) Understanding of the needs of Newcomers Knowledge of Google Apps for Education Willingness to work collaboratively with fellow department members (as well as other instructional staff) Demonstrates detail in required paperwork, documentation, etc. Bilingual (a plus) Additional certification (Teacher of Bilingual/Bicultural) - a plus Effective: 2025-2026 School Year Salary: As per salary guide based on experience and earned degree level Minimum $63,000 - maximum $98,404 Benefits: In addition to the base salary, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package: including medical/vision, prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off. Requirements
