About The Position

Be the driving force behind student success! Cross Country Education is actively seeking a certified English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher for a high-impact, full-time opportunity in San Antonio, TX for the 2025-2026 school year. Join a collaborative middle/high school team to blend direct, small-group instruction for emergent bilinguals with vital campus-wide program coordination across two supportive San Antonio locations. Position Overview: Deliver small-group, sheltered instruction to 6th-12th grade Emergent Bilinguals (EBs) focusing on ELAR academic language. Lead campus ESL coordination and TELPAS testing to ensure 100% state (TEA) compliance, and facilitate LPAC meetings, student identification, and progress documentation. Partner with Gen-Ed teachers to implement classroom accommodations and curriculum adaptations. Serve as the primary liaison between the ESL program, campus administrators, and parents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid Texas Educator Certificate with an ESL Supplemental endorsement (Required)
• Valid Texas Content Area/Generalist Certification for grades 6-12
• Successful completion of a Texas DPS/FBI criminal background check and fingerprinting

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years in a K-12 setting (Preferred); experience with TELPAS and LPAC documentation is a significant plus
