Under limited supervision, the English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor uses intermediate skills obtained through experience and training to educate adults in which English is not their primary language of the verbal and written skills needed. Follows established procedures to perform routine tasks and receives general guidance and direction to perform a variety of non-routine tasks with limited decision-making responsibility. Resolves most questions and problems, refers unusual issues to a higher level. Routine contact with internal and external customers as required to obtain, clarify or provide facts and information.
