Post End Date: February 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the CUPE4207-3 (Employee Group) Position Title: IELP – ALL (Applied Language Learning) Department: PCS - ESL SERVICES Nominal Hours: 32.5 Salary: $34.52-$36.78/hour (As outlined in the CUPE 4207, Unit 3 Collective Agreement) Employment: PART-TIME (18 Feb 2026 to April 8 2026) Start Date: 18 Feb 2025 Duties: Instructors are responsible for: Teaching all courses as assigned in the scheduled period of instruction. Preparing course syllabus and lesson plans, ensuring alignment with course and program learning outcomes. Marking and evaluation of in-class work and record keeping. Attending pre-sessional instructor orientation sessions, as well as post session grade review meeting. Communicating effectively and professionally with colleagues and staff. Attending departmental meetings. Participating in events such as closing ceremonies and orientation. Contributing to a positive work environment. Qualifications: In most circumstances the minimum qualifications for a new non-credit appointment shall be the Bachelor degree and TESL Certificate with a supervised practicum; Master’s level qualifications in related areas – e.g. Applied Linguistics, English, Languages – shall also be taken into account; post-secondary teaching experience, especially in ESL/EFL, and particularly overseas, is very desirable.
