Responsibilities include: setting up, operating, maintaining and cleaning the sterile Extended Shelf Life (ESL) filling equipment monitoring caps, codes, weights and carton integrity tasting products for quality maintaining sterility of equipment related to ESL filling and conveying maintaining sterility in the ESL filling area at all times maintaining a hygienic, tightly controlled environment for the packaging of ESL products disassembling and reassembling fillers and associated equipment for cleaning and ensuring they are safe and sterile manual and hand cleaning of the equipment in the ESL packaging area cleaning the environment of the filling room operating and documenting daily CIP and sterilization activities of the equipment operating the floor cleaner and scrubbing equipment accurately recording daily production data and regulatory information and verifying they are within the established control limits for proper operation performing laboratory tests and monitoring weight control of product producing a quality product in a manner that meets Publix and regulatory standards performing minor repairs, preventative maintenance and mechanical adjustments as needed and other duties as assigned.
