Responsibilities

  • Maximize collections on all files through appropriate actions such as telephone contact, proper handling and documentation of mail, timely follow-up, and effective use of the RSI diary date system, including placing pertinent documents into the Apollo system.
  • Allocate checks to the PCRS system as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) at all times.
  • Maintain ACA Certified Collector Certification.
  • Achieve a pass rating of 90% or higher on QR self-reviews.
  • Adhere to RSI best practices.
  • Manage the VISA Vendor Management process, acting as a liaison between Collections Vendors and the Chubb/ESIS Claim Team. Adapt to changes in focus from collections to vendor management as required.
  • Organize work efficiently and complete daily tasks in the most effective manner.
  • Demonstrate understanding of business processes and provide feedback or suggestions for improvement.
  • Prioritize work, focusing on critical tasks.
  • Identify when processes or tasks need to be changed, communicate changes to management, and explain the reasons and benefits.
  • When placing a file in preliminary review, include suggestions for resolution.
  • Move files forward toward resolution rather than repeating previous actions.
  • Manage the AS400 Queue within the 30-day standard.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to both clients and customers.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage and direct file reviews.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Maintain positive relationships with accounts.
  • Achieve positive results on SAS/EASE instructions.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Display a positive attitude and support teamwork within the team and office.
  • Maintain appropriate attendance and embrace workplace changes.
  • Improve job knowledge through self-development and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Actively train and mentor less experienced claims representatives.
  • Serve as backup to the Team Leader and handle special projects as assigned.
  • Communicate claims or customer service issues promptly to the appropriate resource (e.g., CVP, Manager, PLM, Team Leader, Account Executive, Client).
  • Develop competency in accessing claims within the ECOS claim system and the Work View file system.
