About The Position

The ESG Program Analyst at United Therapeutics will play a crucial role in advancing the company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This position involves managing projects, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and supporting the achievement of corporate responsibility and environmental sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and experience in ESG or sustainability programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, management, sustainability, engineering, or related field AND at least 3 years experience in project management OR a Master's degree with at least 1 year experience in project management.
  • At least two years of experience working with ESG concepts, frameworks, and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain detailed records and ensure the accuracy of information.
  • Interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of GRI, SASB, IFRS, TCFD, TNFD, GHG Protocol, CDP, and CSRD.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree or equivalent experience in environmental sustainability or related studies.
  • Experience in the life sciences industry.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Familiarity with preparing ESG-related reports and disclosures.
  • Experience with renewable energy and sustainability project implementation.
  • Experience with assurance of ESG-related disclosures.
  • Experience with stakeholder management and change enablement.

Responsibilities

  • Support preparation of the annual Corporate Responsibility and Public Benefit Report and related disclosures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and tracking tools for ESG-related initiatives.
  • Help coordinate internal committees and working groups focused on environmental and social sustainability topics.
  • Create and curate content for UT's Corporate Responsibility website and other communications.
  • Support the execution of ESG-related surveys and assessments.
  • Develop training materials and workshops to increase internal awareness of ESG principles.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to the ESG Program based on feedback and industry trends.
