About The Position

Transaction Management: Structure, negotiate, and execute complex escrow and paying agent agreements, collaborating with internal legal counsel to minimize risk and ensure compliance. Client Collaboration: Partner with Escrow Business Development and Private Bankers to onboard clients, gather necessary documentation, and coordinate seamless deal closings. Cross-Functional Partnership: Engage with internal specialists (foreign exchange, equity) to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs. Operational Oversight: Oversee account openings, fundings, and closings, ensuring accuracy and resolving any deficiencies. Risk Management: Monitor account activity, manage "tickler" items, and oversee claim submissions, adhering to contractual and legal obligations. Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and accurate resolutions. Sales Support: Participate in sales calls and client presentations to promote Escrow Agent services.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in escrow agent transactions or settlement funds.
  • Deep understanding of escrow and paying agent transactions and contract negotiation.
  • Solid understanding of escrow and paying agent end to end lifecycle management with solid product expertise.
  • Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional project management, analytical, and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, client relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Ability to travel domestically as required.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and sound business practices.

Nice To Haves

  • JD, MBA, or other advanced degree is a plus.
