In this role, you will work closely with sellers, buyers, and lending institutions, reviewing trust deeds and mortgages to ensure all documents are in order for a smooth transaction. You will also be responsible for overseeing ownership records and obtaining property drawings from assessors.
Requirements
- Escrow certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous work experience
- Great decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of legal codes, executive orders, and court procedures
Responsibilities
- Communicate with sellers, buyers, and lending organizations
- Manage and transfer funds securely
- Verify the accuracy of documents and property ownership
- Prepare closing reports and finalize transactions
- Review trust deeds, mortgages, and related documents
- Summarize and review search activity and property documents
- Obtain property reports and drawings from assessors and surveyors
- Verify property titles and oversee ownership documentation
