About The Position

The Escrow Officer is responsible for managing residential and/or commercial escrow transactions from open to close in compliance with Nevada law. This role serves as the primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys, ensuring accurate documentation, timely closings, and exceptional customer service. Success in this role requires strong escrow expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high-volume desk.

Requirements

  • Active Nevada Escrow Officer License (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum 2–5 years of escrow officer experience in Nevada.
  • Strong knowledge of Nevada escrow laws, procedures, and closing requirements.
  • Experience handling full-cycle escrow transactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a personal desk.
  • Customer-service driven with a professional demeanor.
  • High level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with residential resale, refinance, new construction, and/or commercial escrows.
  • Existing book of business or referral relationships.
  • Experience with common escrow/title software platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Open, manage, and close escrow files for residential and/or commercial transactions.
  • Review escrow instructions, purchase agreements, lender requirements, and title commitments.
  • Prepare and balance settlement statements in compliance with Nevada regulations.
  • Coordinate signing appointments, funding, and recording.
  • Ensure all conditions are satisfied prior to closing.
  • Disburse funds accurately and timely.
  • Ensure all escrow files comply with Nevada escrow laws, company policies, and underwriter requirements.
  • Identify and resolve title, lien, payoff, and documentation issues.
  • Maintain accurate and complete escrow files.
  • Adhere to regulatory and audit standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and attorneys.
  • Provide proactive status updates throughout the escrow process.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Deliver a high-touch customer experience from open to close.
