About The Position

The Escrow Branch Manager is responsible for fostering and maintaining optimal levels of service and production for their branch operations, creating an exceptional customer experience. They will manage staff to ensure company quality and superior performance standards are adhered to. They are also responsible for developing and implementing strategies and tactics that will increase and maintain client satisfaction and improve company productivity. This position must have an established book of business or be able to establish a book of business within a reasonable amount of time to meet given performance standards. They create an exceptional customer experience for each escrow file assigned to them, including timely and accurate documentation and communication.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Notary public status.
  • Five years of escrow experience as Escrow Officer with a Washington State Limited Practice Officer (LPO) License and demonstrate competency in complex escrow processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Two plus years of experience in the title and escrow industry with management, employee supervision, employee performance, and general understanding of federal, state, local employment’s best practice, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and assist all parties to create an exceptional customer experience.
  • Promote company culture, mission, and values creating an exceptional customer experience.
  • Build and maintain a book of business through continued personal marketing efforts.
  • Manage and process assigned escrow files, through exceptional communication and coordination of escrow team.
  • Prepares and reviews warranty deeds, quit claim deeds, notes, deeds of trust, and the like as allowed by state law.
  • Leads team in resolving complex title issues.
  • Coordinates the closing of an escrow between the principals of the escrow transaction.
  • Regularly follows up on any post-closing matters to ensure clear title is achieved.
  • Maintain required continuing education for licensing and development of knowledge and skill for increasingly more complex closings to meet growth in performance standards.
  • Facilitate Escrow branch workload to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Work with Escrow Operations Manager to facilitate coverage as needed.
  • Take and resolve all escrow branch complaints, coordinating with Escrow Operations Manager as needed.
  • Underwrite escrow issues making final decisions subject to established guidelines, ensuring compliance with company Policies and Procedures and ALTA Best Practices.
  • Audit branch escrow files to ensure all escrow policies and processes are followed. Audit review with Escrow Operations Manager as needed.
  • Lead, manage and create accountability for the Escrow branch.
  • Train, coach and develop Escrow branch.
  • Participate in Customer Relationship development with realtors, lenders, attorneys, developers, and builders.
  • Responsible for branch sales, profit, and production. Reports progress on goals to Escrow Operations Manager and CEO.
  • Maintains utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Maintains information security.
  • Adheres to company policies and guidelines.
