About The Position

UWM is seeking a qualified Escrow Manager/Coordinator based out of our San Diego office to oversee and provide guidance to the individuals on the TRAC+ Closing team. This individual contributor role requires 100% onsite attendance in our San Diego office. This role requires two weeks of training in Michigan. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING This position will assure compliance with state-specific closing and escrow related requirements. This position will work with the internal teams to make sure that all licensing requirements are met. This position will work closely with other leaders on the TRAC+ team to make sure all internal and external deadlines are met and loans are closed timely. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Must Have Qualifications: This role requires 100% onsite attendance in our San Diego office.

Requirements

Have at least five (5) years of experience as an escrow officer or escrow supervisor of other escrow officers at a title company or escrow company.
Have or be able to obtain individual escrow related state licenses on an as needed basis.
Have demonstrated leadership experience in your current role or prior roles.
Have demonstrated knowledge of residential mortgage loan documentation and loan closing processes through prior experience.
Have a commitment to continuous business improvement.
Be capable of working closely with internal clients and outside business partners.
Be able to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Be self-motivated and able to work well in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

Provide oversight and guidance to team members to ensure compliant loan closings.
Provide direction to team members on disbursement and title related matters in connection with loan closings.
