The Escrow Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Escrow department by providing customer service and administrative assistance related to escrow closings, primarily focused on residential transactions. This position involves a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the escrow process, from opening orders to preparing closing documents and managing disbursements.

  • Perform a wide range of administrative duties to gather information and assist in the escrow process.
  • Open orders and input closing statement information.
  • Prepare documents for closing and handle the complete disbursement and follow-up of all escrow transactions.
  • Communicate requirements and other information to clients.
  • Interpret various agreements as they relate to closing and prepare all documents required for transactions.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in an escrow-related role.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of company and/or client operating systems.
