About The Position

Serves as a hospitality escort and van driver for special events and day trips
for the Senior Center. Hours and days of work will vary according to schedule
needs. The salary range for this position is $15.16- $18.51 per hour, depending
on qualifications and experience.   This opportunity will remain open until
filled.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications within 60 days of hire.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with a diverse group of people, co-workers, and the general public.

Nice To Haves

• Course work in recreation, education or related field preferred.
• Six (6) months previous experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Recreation Coordinator to review and understand the established itineraries for the day trips or special events.
• Provides guest services to seniors as a hospitality escort providing instruction and guidance to guests.
• Some trips require operating a motor vehicle including an 15-passenger van.
• Provides on-site supervision for the day; assists with the miscellaneous duties related to the day trips or other special events.
• May assist with special events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
