About The Position
The Environment, Safety, and Health (ES&H) Directorate has an opening for a Business Architect Manager. ES&H is a multidisciplinary directorate responsible for managing over 100 complex and dynamic programs across the Laboratory, with a $95M+ budget and approximately 500 employees. In this role, you will serve as the focal point for the business needs tied to ES&H software systems, leading a small team and reporting to the Operations Department Manager as part of the Directorate Operations staff. Your primary objective will be to represent ES&H business needs by partnering with the ES&H/LivIT Deputy Program Manager to lead, develop, monitor, and manage transformational initiatives by leveraging enterprise IT services. Your facilitation and engagement across ES&H, with LivIT, vendors, and Department of Energy Partners, will be critical to the maturation of the Directorate's aggressive strategic transformation initiatives. This position may offer a hybrid schedule, which includes the flexibility to work from home one or more days per week, after a probationary period. The specifics of the hybrid schedule, including the exact number of days required in the office and virtual work options may vary based on the needs of the team and the organization.
