About The Position

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates With no guidance or direction, responsibility for all IMA retail ERS engagement for both new and renewal placements, including but not limited to: RFP participation assessment of client needs and exposures marketing and placement preparation of proposals adherence to ERS/IMA retail workflows carrier relationships best in class coverage negotiation regular client presentations, to both internal and external clients claims advocacy Primary ownership of and responsibility for premium accounts of $30,000 to $100,000 regardless of product or industry Responsibility for geographically specific accounts (i.e., Denver associate, Denver clients) with few instances where covering or assisting of other ERS teams is requested Takes an active role in mentoring & technical training of other ERS associates, internal staff, and clients Claims advocacy as needed on more complex claims Reads and understands the components of a financial statement and interprets document Reads, understands, and articulates the details of an organizational chart Displays significant technical expertise in Management Liability (D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Professional, E&O, Crime and K&R) As requested, participates in the ClientX Process, including internal reviews, business reviews and various other stages and requests as needed Minimal travel required

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Executive Risk, Management Liability or other equivalent experience with broker, legal firm, claims, carrier, etc.
  • Proficiency with most Microsoft Office products
  • Property & Casualty License required
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities
