About The Position

General Characteristics Responsible for documenting the “to-be” processes, defining performance metrics and identifying and resolving process gaps. Has a strong understanding and experience in the ERP methodology used by the organization. Responsible for mapping the business processes to ERP modules (often in conjunction with consultants) and participates in user acceptance testing. Often is involved in the creation of documentation and training materials, and may deliver training during implementation. May also act in a system support role immediately after implementation. Incumbents in this position come from the business, with an expert level of understanding of all of the business processes of the function they represent. They also serve as a communications liaison to the business during the implementation. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in function represented in the business. Or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of business and/or ERP implementation experience.
  • Intermediate professional level role.
  • Works on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a technical leader.
  • Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and knowledge of a specific business area.
  • May coach more junior technical staff.
