The ERP System Administrator will play a crucial role in optimizing the use of the On-Prem Deltek Vantagepoint enterprise software within the organization. This position involves collaborating with various teams to assess business needs, develop data management solutions, and ensure compliance across divisions. The administrator will manage user roles, create workflows, generate reports, and provide training to users, all while preparing for upcoming system upgrades.

  • Ensure maximum utilization of the On-Prem Deltek Vantagepoint enterprise software.
  • Collaborate with senior management, finance, IT, and project managers to assess business needs and objectives.
  • Evaluate existing business and data management processes and re-establish compliance as needed.
  • Update existing system functionality and reporting.
  • Manage user and security roles within the Deltek system.
  • Create system workflows and ad-hoc customized reports.
  • Solicit feedback from users regarding system functionality and expectations.
  • Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions for users in various environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, or Computer Science.
  • Three or more years of advanced experience using an ERP system in an accounting or project management role within a professional services environment.
  • Experience creating custom fields, workflows, and reports in Deltek Vantagepoint solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and possess a driven, inquisitive personality.
  • Technical aptitude and interest in acquiring competence within SQL language.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of Deltek workflows and stored procedures.
  • Previous experience in ERP implementation and/or conversions.
  • Experience working with an architecture and/or engineering consulting firm.
  • Experience providing support to remote users.
  • Basic SQL query writing and SSRS experience.
  • Proficiency with statistics and familiarity with general business processes and controls.
  • Experience with Unionpoint and/or Workato.
