The ERP Business Process and Systems Specialist [AU1] bridges business stakeholders and technical teams to design processes and implement supporting software. This role uses ERP expertise to assess needs, analyze data, and support implementation through collaboration, training, and ongoing improvement. The analyst also works with peers and leaders to evaluate current systems and align technology strategy with business goals.

  • Collaborate with various teams to design and document scalable, standard processes for purchasing manufacturing, inventory management, distribution, sales, and accounting.
  • Spot gaps for process improvement and automation, recommending ERP solutions in line with Sage X3 standards.
  • Prepare and update process flows, specs, test cases, and user guides.
  • Configure and maintain Sage X3 modules and integrations.
  • Convert business needs into ERP specifications and coordinate with developers for customizations.
  • Address user requests, resolve issues, and liaise with internal teams or Sage X3 partners.
  • Adhere to change management procedures.
  • Support ERP projects such as implementation, upgrades, validations, optimization, and automation.
  • Oversee functional testing, coordinate UAT, and train users.
  • Track system adoption and KPIs to drive improvements.
  • Recommend enhancements based on data and feedback.
  • Act as an effective link between business teams and IT or development resources.
  • Lead workshops, training programs, and meetings that involve multiple departments.
  • Assist in managing change initiatives to increase user acceptance of new processes, tools, and solutions, thereby enhancing system usage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field—or an additional five years of relevant professional experience.
  • A minimum of three years’ Sage X3 implementation experience is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business processes and ERP data in at least two functional areas, including Purchasing, Manufacturing, Inventory Management (Finished Goods and Raw Materials), Sales, or Accounting.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficient in preparing comprehensive documentation, process maps, test scripts, and training materials.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical team members in-person and remote environments.
  • A user-focused perspective combined with strong business orientation.
  • Capable of working independently within a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
  • Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with flexibility required across North American time zones and a willingness to work additional hours as necessary.
  • Ability to carry and lift product inventory of up to 10 lbs.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to multitask in high pressure, changing conditions.
  • Experience with Sage X3 implementation and/or advanced configuration.
  • Proficiency in MSSQL, to include basic querying, procedure, and job building
  • Proficiency with Power BI [AU2]
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ITGC, SOX, and FSMA.
