About The Position

Holly Frontier Corporation is seeking a ERP Programmer IV in Dallas, TX. The role involves conducting SAP programming duties for moderately complex and large-scale projects for the Information Technology Department. Responsibilities include performing ABAP, Cloud ABAP (BTP) or Java programming, leading Mobile application deployments using SAP BTP platform, and developing and deploying business applications using Business Application Studio (BAS). The position requires conducting design tasks for moderately complex systems, working on development and maintenance of assigned systems, and collecting, compiling, and analyzing information for system design. The ERP Programmer IV will evaluate information to identify procedures, methods, and solutions, and make recommendations to project management about current programs/activities within their area of responsibility. The role also involves serving as an integrator to the functional and business teams for technical services provided by the BASIS team, the client infrastructure provider, and vendors. Additionally, the programmer will develop practices and procedures to manage technologies, lead efforts to develop technical standards, and monitor work activities of group members to ensure compliance with procedures and achievement of objectives. The position requires collaboration with the team to determine strategy and plan for systems implementations and upgrades.

Requirements

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
• Experience applying principles, methods, and techniques used in developing ABAP software programs in SAP.
• Experience in Cloud ABAP development and deploying mobile apps using BTP.
• Knowledge of personal computer (PC) and mini computer operations, capabilities, and limitations.
• Experience in designing new and revising existing ABAP applications and systems in SAP.
• Ability to resolve ABAP programming problems and better utilize computer resources.
• Experience performing configuration and development using Business Application Studio with BTP Platform.
• Experience performing systems analysis work and conducting feasibility studies.
• Experience implementing large scale IT projects.
