About The Position

Clemson University is seeking an ERP Integration Specialist to join its Integration Services Team. This role involves serving as a technical point of contact for various projects related to the integration of HR and Finance ERP systems. The specialist will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting system integrations, as well as providing application support to ensure user requirements are met. The position plays a crucial role in the university's transition to a new cloud-based ERP platform, Workday, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related area.
  • Experience in computer system development and modification.
  • Understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Familiarity with web service integration standards such as SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON, XML.
  • Experience working with common cloud architectures, reporting, security, and/or integration standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building Workday Integrations (EIB, Cloud Connect, Document Transformation, and/or Workday Studio).
  • Experience using Workday including building and using reports.
  • Experience with integration protocols, implementation approaches, and tools throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Workday Pro Integrations Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical point of contact for assigned projects, including solution design, technical documentation, implementation, and production support.
  • Design, build, test, and support internal and external HR and Finance ERP System integrations and custom report development.
  • Provide application support including coding, testing, documenting, troubleshooting, and installation of programs/systems to satisfy user requirements.
  • Gather business requirements, perform database analysis, and code and test middleware routines for seamless communication among IT systems.
  • Create and maintain custom integrations, ensuring their availability and viability through monitoring and maintenance.
  • Identify and address implementation risks to remove project roadblocks and engage internal escalation resources.
  • Provide direct end-user support related to the IT function of supported applications and services.
