About The Position

Epicor Resource Scheduler will be an integral member of a dynamic team tasked with developing and managing the ERP system schedule for a high paced manufacturing machine shop. This strategic role is responsible for working collaboratively with all functions of the business to ensure that all systems, schedules, and resources are effectively produced with the highest level of focus being placed on quality. This position will require an individual who can think quickly and can adapt to sudden and dramatic customer changes utilizing available forecasting tools. The position will require a very high level of precise communication so that all departments are aware of operational needs and schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• 5+ years of Epicor Scheduling/Planning experience
• Previous work experience with Epicor is required
• Strong oral, written and technical communication skills
• Must be self-directed, and able to deliver under pressure, meeting customer and management deadlines
• Must be highly motivated and be comfortable operating independently as well as within a team environment
• Must be customer-focused and able to work with customers and understand/react to their needs
• Must have high levels of attention to detail, be able to multi-task and stay organized
• Must demonstrate the ability to act professionally
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time throughout the shift
• Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office/warehouse to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Responsibilities

• Plans and prepares production schedules for the manufacture of products including preparation of the master schedule to establish a sequence and lead time for each operation meeting customer required dates
• Track and update progress of manufacturing operations (multiple times a day) including updating the scheduling software with progress, changes, and other pertinent data
• Responsible for transferring manufacturing plans into ERP system and manufacturing scheduling software
• Reviews and releases production jobs to ensure accuracy and efficiency within the ERP system
• Will collaborate with the Business Development Team to provide available capacity for potential new orders, identify resource capacity conflicts, and to maintain OTD rate of 95% or higher
• Communicate systematic problems, sudden spikes, or other abnormal volume to operations staff as a proactive measure to allow time for necessary adjustments
• Log and address recurring issues and determine appropriate resolution as a continuous improvement initiative
• Participate and complete all mandatory overtime
• Perform other duties as assigned by Aerodyn management team
