About The Position

The ERP Applications Analyst at HDR plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's ERP systems by producing functional specifications, developing processes, and conducting various testing cycles. This position is integral to ensuring system operations run smoothly and that user teams are effectively trained and supported. The analyst will also manage ticket queues, resolve issues, and drive improvements in the ERP customer experience, all while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Capacity to become a subject matter expert for applications.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across functional teams.
• Experience authoring business requirements, functional specifications, and test scripts.
• Project management skills.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Produce functional specifications for the development team.
• Develop and document processes, quality controls, and reporting to support system operations.
• Conduct and participate in various testing cycles including unit, integration, user acceptance, and month-end close testing.
• Document, maintain, and execute test scripts.
• Train targeted user groups on system and process changes.
• Assist with problem resolution and end-user support.
• Manage ticket queues and ensure issues are resolved or tracked to completion.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Solicit and drive improvements in ERP customer experience.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Develop 'how to' documents for the team.
• Manage assigned projects.
