About The Position

The ERP Applications Analyst supports the maintenance, reporting, and optimization of ERP systems by applying foundational SQL, data analysis, and reporting skills. This role works closely with senior team members and stakeholders across IT and business teams to support scalable solutions, maintain data integrity, ensure compliance, and contribute to performance improvements through reporting, process support, and system enhancements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
Basic understanding of SQL concepts with hands-on experience in SQL Server, MySQL, or similar relational database systems
2+ years of experience in data analysis, business operations, IT support, or a related role
SQL Proficiency: Foundational knowledge of SQL concepts and practical experience querying relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
Understanding of fundamental financial principles, operational processes, and business metrics
Good troubleshooting skills for basic database and reporting issues
Strong communication skills to clearly convey information and collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines
Team-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn and work effectively across departments
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
ITAR Requirement
120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with ERP systems and/or financial software is a plus
Basic proficiency in reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS, Excel advanced functions)

Responsibilities

Assist in writing and executing SQL queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate data from ERP databases using tools like SQL Server Management Studio
Support the creation, maintenance, and basic optimization of reports and dashboards using Power BI and/or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Help prepare and update visualizations, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reports for review by senior analysts and stakeholders
Contribute to basic financial data analysis and support the development of simple financial models under guidance for planning, forecasting, and decision-making
Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into technical specifications with support from senior team members
Act as a supporting liaison between IT and operational teams to facilitate communication, issue resolution, and solution delivery
Monitor business processes and system performance with guidance, identifying basic inefficiencies and assisting in recommending improvements
Support change-management activities during system updates, including testing, user communication, and adoption efforts
Participate in analyses for project-based and operational initiatives under supervision
Perform testing and quality assurance tasks for system enhancements and updates
Help maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements in financial and operational processes
