Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on erosion control or civil construction projects.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina for working outdoors in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks as needed.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams including engineers, contractors, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, inspection, and maintenance of erosion control measures such as silt fences, sediment basins, erosion mats, and other best practices aligned with project specifications.
- Lead or support team members in executing erosion control plans efficiently on active construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor erosion control effectiveness, identify issues promptly, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed.
- Assist in managing contracts related to erosion control materials and services while ensuring adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Participate in safety meetings and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members on-site.
