About The Position

The Erosion Control Specialist at CMG Landscape and Maintenance LLC is responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of construction management practices, including contract and budget management. The Specialist will coordinate on-site activities and supervise team members to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and contract management.
• Proficiency in using construction management software including HeavyBid and ProCore.
• Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality control.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus on project goals.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 30 certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Manage project schedules and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Complete highway/road projects to job specifications and within the assigned time and budget as assigned by Superintendent.
• Inspect quality of work to ensure company standards and project specifications are met.
• Routinely inventory project materials on company vehicles to ensure adequate supply necessary on stock items is present for job completion.
• Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid and ProCore for project management, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Review schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.
