The Ergonomic Specialist at ATI Physical Therapy is responsible for identifying potential risks for musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries and developing strategic actions to mitigate these risks. This role emphasizes early intervention and injury prevention services, requiring a combination of fieldwork and remote work to support clients effectively.

  • Perform, document, and track ergonomic task analysis using client or ATI specific tools.
  • Develop strategic actions for the direction of the client's ergonomics program.
  • Develop, train, and lead cross-functional teams and committees, including the client's employees.
  • Interface with department leaders and corporate executives to seek feedback and/or approval for projects, reports, and program KPIs.
  • Manage task lists with identified ergonomic risks to further problem-solve risk mitigation strategies and prioritize projects.
  • Deploy new technology, including software and wearable technology.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Early Intervention and/or industrial ergonomics.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Factors, Engineering Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Ergonomics, Safety, Nursing or Allied Health Profession.
  • AEP-Associate Ergonomics Professional.
  • Previous training/experience in Industrial Ergonomics.
