The Employee Retiree Benefits (ERB) IT Program Manager is responsible to review business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risk. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from directing mid to large scale projects to assisting project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect team members and associated business partners. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication and leadership skills to aid in building strong relationships with business partners. This ERB IT Program Manager (ITPPSM) is the primary technical contact to work closely with the ERB business unit and IT management to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which HCA operates. Additionally, this role provides oversight and management of ETS resources key to the capture and understanding of business processes and requirements needed to address business challenges. This position has responsibility for all product management, project management, business analysis, and quality assurance to support the ERB division.

  • Bridge the gap between the technology and business elements within HCA.
  • Build new, and upon existing working relationships with business executives, senior management, and other staff to achieve intended goals.
  • Establish a structure to ensure continued and effective engagement with the business and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the entire process of solution delivery beginning with ideation to delivering business value.
  • Support recruitment, professional development, and ensure work is completed effectively.
  • Provide coaching and support of team to achieve program goals.
  • Manage IT projects through the project management lifecycle.
  • Serve as Project Director for significant, agency-level and interagency projects.
  • Establish project management best practice and standardized processes.
  • Support establishment of new policies, standards, and processes.
  • Master's degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration/Management or a closely related field from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of professional IT Experience, including three or more years as an IT Manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration/Management or a closely related field from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years of professional IT Experience, including three or more years as an IT Manager.
  • Fourteen (14) years of professional IT Experience, including three or more years as an IT Manager.
  • Four (4) years as an IT Manager.
  • Five (5) years of experience in business analysis or project management.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Project Director, Project Manager and/or Business Analyst working on health IT systems development.
  • Two (2) years of organizational change management experience.
  • Project Management Certification.
  • One (1) year of experience with projects under WaTech oversight.
  • Organizational Change Management Certification.
