MissionVet is a multi-disciplinary veterinary specialty and emergency hospital, and we are currently seeking four full-time ER Veterinary Technicians to help us continue to build our specialty practice and work in Emergency and Inpatient Care. As an essential part of our hospital, our technicians play a vital role, using their skills and expertise to provide exceptional care for patients and compassionate support for clients. Requirements
- Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT) or Skilled Technicians with at least two years of experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus
- The ability to thrive under pressure and make informed decisions in fast-paced situations.
- A genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to patient well-being.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in Emergency and Critical Care is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Experience or familiarity with emergency care, including advanced ICU monitoring, CRI calculations, and fluid rate management.
- Assessing and stabilizing critically ill patients while working closely with the veterinary team.
- Administering medications and treatments under the direction of experienced veterinarians.
- Providing compassionate support to concerned pet owners and keeping them informed about their pets' condition.
- Ensuring accurate and detailed medical record-keeping.
- Collaborating with veterinarians and team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
