Hourly PRN Position: Must work a minimum of 1 shift every 6 weeks PRN employees will be expected to work one major holiday or one defined critical staffing day Physical Location: Carroll County Memorial Hospital 309 11th St. Carrollton, KY 41008 The Job You Will Perform: Assist the Patient Care Team in providing patient care as needed Communicates, in a timely manner, to the appropriate person any information received or observed that may affect patient care Performs treatment and procedures within the guidelines set forth by the Patient Care Policy Manual and Standards of Care Assist nurse with readying patients for exam to include, but not limited to: obtaining vital signs, pulse ox, height, weight, and head circumference as needed Empties straight urinary drainage bags, ostomy bags, drainage systems and suction containers Performs other duties as assigned The Qualifications, Skills and/or Knowledge You Bring: High School diploma or equivalent 6 months related experience required Must be able to read, write and speak the English language Must be able to work independently and pay attention to accuracy and detail Able to follow verbal instructions Read/comprehend written instructions The Company You Will Join: Carroll County Memorial Hospital strives to uphold our Values of Respect, Compassion, Excellence, Stewardship and Justice each day to ensure we provide the best possible services to the communities we serve. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months related experience required
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
  • Must be able to work independently and pay attention to accuracy and detail
