About Our Unit: Our Emergency Department cares for over 45,000 patients each year in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. With 42 treatment rooms-including 5 Mental Health Secured Unit rooms and 3 Trauma Bays-you'll gain experience with a wide variety of patient needs. We are a Primary Stroke Center, offer a 24-hour Cardiac Cath Lab with EMS direct-to-Cath capabilities, and are a designated Level III Trauma Center.
