About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Full Time ER Tech. To assist in
providing basic patient care activities for which employee has been prepared, as
well as non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and
comfort of patients

Requirements

• Certification from an approved phlebotomy training program required, with the exception of EMT, see below. Certification must be valid and current.
• National certification for EMT valid and current or higher with Phlebotomy training via SMMC within 6 months.
• Experience in phlebotomy required. Employees practicing in this role more than 10 years at SMMC are exempt from certification requirements.
• Verbal ability required to communicate with patients and understand instructions received from nursing staff
• Manual dexterity required to use hands easily skillfully while aiding patients.
• BLS required.
