About The Position

Level II Trauma, Stroke ED patient ratio 1:6 - 1:10 depending on area must be able to: maintain composure and function in cardiac arrest situation, assist in providing care and independently completing patient care orders, provide care for various patient populations Will have 1:1 contact with Covid patients May assist in traumas Unit will accept 1st time traveler all time off must be pre approved prior to start. Responsible to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Requirements

• Maryland state license
• BLS
• Trauma level 2 or 3
• ED experience
• vital signs
• glucometer
• phlebotomy
• EKGs
• AED/defibrillator
• splinting
• wound care
• crutch training
• Trauma Center
• Stroke center
• STEMI center
• Minimum of 1 year experience, 2 years preferred

Nice To Haves

• ACLS
• EMT
• tele cert
• MAB
• EMT-B
• ambulance
• trauma level one
• interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
