About The Position

Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital (PCVRH) is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 9-month training and mentorship program. We are looking for individuals who are team oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable to train with us and transition into an ER position at PCVRH. PCVRH moved to our brand-new location in Spring 2024. Our close-knit hospital team consists of 3 Internists, 2 Radiologists, 3 Surgeons, a Criticalist, an Anesthesiologist, 2 Ophthalmologists, a Medical Oncologist, 2 Cardiologists, a Neurologist and a large team of dedicated Emergency Veterinarians.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 9-month training program focused on emergency medicine.

• Integrate professional skills and life/work balance into practice.
• Work with a dedicated mentor during shifts.
• Rotate with other specialty services during the training program.
