About The Position

The Jefferies Prime Services Equity Swap Support/Client Service Representative is responsible for the client support and relationship management for all Prime Services swap clients of the firm trading equity swaps.  The right candidate will be part of Prime Services and be client-facing working directly with the firm’s cash brokerage and equity swap clients, along with operational and support teams across the firm.  The right candidate will assist in addressing client inquiries and help drive revenue across our client base.

Responsibilities

  • Sole point of contact for swap clients operational inquires, and client inquiries and disputes on collateral requests
  • Participate in swap platform enhancements and regression testing, and reconcile client reporting for changes prior to production implementation
  • Deep understanding of equity swap client reporting including swap exposure, financing accruals, dividend accruals, activity and mark-to-market valuations
  • Account reconciliation of cash balances, positions and daily transactions for Synthetic Prime Brokerage accounts
  • Monitor all client trade activity, settlement queries, client facing reporting and transactions across both equity hedges and swap allocations
  • Analyze profitability and ROA (return on assets) reporting, and work with clients to increase revenue streams to the firm
  • Ensure all client trades are reported properly into the custody and swap portfolios to minimize operational risk 
  • Assist in training clients on the firm's technology, client facing reporting and file extracts with administrators along with proper connectivity setups 
  • Consistently review all accounts under your existing coverage for margin and risk requirement and risk exposure, and escalate when needed
  • Work with other areas within the firm to address client requests, such as corporate actions, margin and risk inquiries, securities lending rates and connectivity requests 
  • Monitor and review trade input and activity in Traiana and other firm trade processing applications
