About The Position

The Equity Research Summer MBA Internship is a highly challenging and rewarding program, providing the opportunity to learn from our industry experts in a dynamic environment. The internship will take place in Denver, and typically lasts 10 weeks between June and August. You will work closely with equity research analysts on a specific sector team (e.g. consumer, technology, industrials, etc.) focused on various projects, company/industry analysis, and working on an individual stock pitch Perform fundamental research on industries, end-markets, companies, and/or products, under the direction of a PM/senior equity research analyst Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative analyses, such as market segmentation, competitive analysis, forecasting, data trends, and primary research Develop expertise in data resources, such as Bloomberg, to aid research process Build financial and valuation models Deliver presentations to discuss investment conclusions and recommendations to the sector and portfolio teams Carry out other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • All candidates must currently be enrolled in a 2 year MBA program with a graduation date in 2027
  • Strong academic record
  • Demonstrated interest in finance, investment management, and/or economics
  • Exceptional analytical and research skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge, including experience with financial modeling
  • Excellent communication skills and desire to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US

Nice To Haves

  • Previous finance-related internship/experience preferred
